2026
Friday, October 2
The Main Track played fairly. The rails were at zero on both turf courses, and while the rail was good on both, it wasn't any clear advantage as overall the races played out fairly.
Thursday, October 1
While some races may make it appear that speed was an advantage on the Main Track, overall it played fairly. The rails were at 12 feet on both turf courses. Both played fairly.
Wednesday, September 30
Being forward may have been a bit of an advantage on the Main Track, but arguably the track was at least close to fair. There were two scheduled turf races that were moved to the synthetic track. Likely that track played fairly.
Friday, September 25
Speed dominated three of the four Main Track races, with one winner at 1:9, but the other was run more fairly. Likely not as strong a bias as 9/24. The turf courses appeared to play fairly.
Thursday, September 24
There was an extreme speed bias on the Main Track. Horses were not making up any significant ground. The rails remain 36 feet out on both courses. The Widener played fairly while the inside might be a slight advantage on the Inner.
Sunday, September 20
While the Main Track was listed as Muddy, it was closer to Good, especially for the first few dirt races. While three of the four races played much like Saturday with an outside flow, the 3rd race was won wire to wire by a horse close to the inside. Perhaps worth following. There was one Turf race, on the Widener, and no reason to suggest it didn't play fairly. Today was the first day of Synthetic racing. The paces were very slow in the two routes, while more "normal" in the sprints. The dynamics, pace, played the biggest role in the way the races were run. Tough to say the surface was other than Fair.
Saturday, September 19
Not clear the rail was dead on the Main Track, though it's possible, as there was almost certainly an outside flow to the dirt races. The Mellon Turf played fairly with the rail a possible mild advantage on the Inner Turf.
Friday, September 18
The Main Track played fairly. The rails were out 36 feet on both turf courses. The Mellon course appeared to play fairly while there is an argument that saving ground was at least a slight advantage on the Inner Turf.
