Pick 6 carryover of $13K on Friday at Belmont at the Big A

Friday’s card at Belmont at the Big A will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $13,560 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Thursday’s eight-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $565.02 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly. 

Thursday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with a win from Twirling Lulu [No. 8, $7.86] in a six-furlong outer turf maiden for New York-breds with Hall of Famer Javier Castellano aboard for trainer Bruce Levine. 

Flavien Prat piloted the next winner with the Rudy Rodriguez-conditioned Brave Bear [No. 1, $8.66] in a nine-furlong claimer, in Race 4. The next race saw Rodriguez double up as Hong Kong Phooey [No. 7, $5.74*] prevailed under Ruben Silvera in a six-furlong maiden optional claimer in Race 5. 

In Race 6, Dylan Davis navigated Purloin [No. 6, $7.30] to a Linda Rice-trained exacta over stablemate Adrian in the one-turn mile starter allowance. In Race 7, a six-furlong starter optional claimer on the outer turf, the Levine-trained New York-bred Spoken Bluntly [No. 5, $15.06] wired the field with Kendrick Carmouche up.  

With just the favored Coach Ryan covered heading into the Race 8 finale, a 1 1/16-mile state-bred inner turf maiden, Jaxer [No. 13, $12.20] proved victorious with Prat in the irons for trainer Graham Motion, triggering the carryover. 

Friday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 2:15 p.m. Eastern. First post for the eight-race card is 1:10 p.m.
