Richard Migliore, former Eclipse Award-winning outstanding apprentice jockey and current NYRA TV analyst, is the latest guest on the Across the Board with Andy Serling podcast, now available for download. 

Migliore joined Serling at Aqueduct Racetrack to discuss his lifelong passion for horse racing, ranging from his start as a teenage apprentice rider living on the track to the heights of winning Grade 1 races and now providing analysis on the NYRA network. 

From 1980-2010, Migliore rode more than 4,000 winners with over 3,900 wins on the New York Racing Association circuit. Nicknamed "The Mig" after the Russian fighter jets for his tireless riding style, Migliore was honored with the Mike Venezia Award in 2003 and the George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award in 2008. He has ridden a number of significant horses, including Desert Code on which he won the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint in 2008 along with Fourstardave, Artie Schiller, Hidden Lake, Kip Deville, Friends Lake and many more.
