Fleet Admiral’s upset win at 31-1 odds in Saturday’s final race at Belmont Park ensured a NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 carryover of $47,520 and also triggered a two-day Pick 6 carryover of $36,862 when live racing resumes at Belmont on Sunday.

The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5, covering the last five races of every card at NYRA tracks and available exclusively to NYRA Bets members across the country, along with the Pick 6, saw a number of upsets.

The Pick 6 sequence started in Race 7 when post-time favorite Classic Lady (No. 9, $4.80) won the first leg, and was followed in Race 8, which started the Late Pick 5, with the first upset in the sequence when Playthatfunnymusic (No. 7) scored at 12-1, paying $27.20.

Impazible Odds (No. 5, $9.30) bested Awesome Adversary and Moo Lah to win Race 9. Jockey Junior Alvarado and trainer Jeremiah Englehart combined to win Race 10 with the returning Sue’s Fortune (No. 5, $7.30), while Seek and Destroy (No. 5, $22.20) won the day’s feature, the Grade 3, $100,000 Soaring Softly, at a big price with Kendrick Carmouche up for trainer Chad Brown.

The biggest price of the day came in the finale, when Fleet Admiral (No. 10), piloted by jockey Joey Martinez, held of mutuel favorite My Amanjena, returning $64 on a $2 win bet.

A consolation payout of $203 was awarded to bettors who had four-of-six winners in the Pick 6.

When live racing resumes on Sunday with a 1:30 p.m. first post, the Pick 6 will begin in Race 4 with an approximate post of 3:08 p.m. The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 will begin in Race 5 with a post time of 3:40 p.m.
