Wednesday’s card at Belmont Park will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $39,712 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday’s 10-race card.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $409.80 to bettors who selected 4-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday’s sequence kicked off in Race 5 as Pentathlon [No. 1, $15.88] captured a 1 1/16-mile optional-claimer with Paco Lopez aboard for Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey.

Global Prosperity [No. 4, $19.94], with Hall of Famer Javier Castellano up for Linda Rice, prevailed in Race 6, a six-furlong starter optional-claimer over the inner turf.

The Chad Brown-trained and Samuel Marin-piloted Silly Season [No. 4, $13.08] staved off the bid of stablemate Factory Setting to score in Race 7, a 1 1/16-mile allowance over the Widener turf in Race 7.

In Race 8, a 6 1/2-furlong optional-claiming sprint, Gate to Wire [No. 9, $8.12] outdueled Suremeanttoobe to take the spoils with Castellano up for Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher.

Carmensita [No. 9, $19.70] held off the late bid of Nonconsecutivetrms to take Race 9, a nine-furlong inner turf allowance, with Ricardo Santana, Jr. at the helm for trainer Horacio De Paz.

With the carryover already confirmed heading into Race 10, a one-mile allowance over the Widener turf, Castellano picked up his third win in the sequence and fourth on the card, guiding Funny Factor [No. 2, $22.08] to a rallying score for trainer Chris Englehart.

Wednesday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 4 at approximately 2:49 p.m. Eastern. First post for the nine-race card is 1:10 p.m.
