Admission gates to open at 9 a.m. on DraftKings Travers Day

WHAT:
The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will host the 155th running of the Grade 1, $1.25 million DraftKings Travers on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Saratoga Race Course. In a departure from previous years, admission gates will open at 9 a.m.
WHEN:
- Saturday, August 24
- Patron parking opens at 8 a.m.
- Admission gates open at 9 a.m.
- First post at 11:20 a.m.
DETAILS:
- Admission gates will open at 9 a.m. on DraftKings Travers Day for fans to claim picnic tables and to access the venue.
- On-site parking will be available beginning at 8 a.m.
- DraftKings Travers Day will feature 14 races, beginning at 11:20 a.m.
- The DraftKings Travers will run as Race 13 with a post time of 6:10 p.m.
- Fans who purchase admission in advance for DraftKings Travers Day will save $5. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the race.
- Breakfast at Saratoga, backstretch tram tours and the Saratoga Breakfast and Breeding Farm Tour are not offered on DraftKings Travers Day.
An expanded edition of Saratoga Live will begin at 11:30 a.m. on FS2 with continuing coverage on FS1 at 1:30 p.m. FOX Saratoga Saturday will present live coverage of the DraftKings Travers Day stakes action during a special broadcast on FOX beginning at 3 p.m.
Highlighted by the 155th edition of the Grade 1, $1.25 million DraftKings Travers on Aug. 24, the 2024 summer meet at historic Saratoga Race Course continues through Monday, Sept. 2.
