NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 $1 million single-ticket payout on Travers Day

$1 million Guaranteed Late Pick 4

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced a special Travers Day $1 million single-ticket payout for the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5. Available exclusively to NYRA Bets members across the country, the enhanced payout is triggered if an existing account holder is the sole winner of the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5.

The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 on Travers Day will start with Race 7, with an approximate post time of 2:59 ET and conclude in Race 11 with the Grade 1, $1.25 million Runhappy Travers.

On Monday, August 20, the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 at Saratoga Race Course was taken down by a single winning ticket, which triggered a $150,000 payout one lucky NYRA Bets member. It marked the first time a NYRA Bets account holder has been able to take advantage of the guaranteed minimum payout offered daily throughout the Saratoga meet. As a result of the guaranteed minimum, the account holder received an additional $51,107 on top of the winning wager worth $98,892.

The NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 covers the last five races each day at Saratoga and features a low 15 percent takeout rate and 50-cent minimum bet.

Highlighted by the 149th running of the Travers and Wonder Gadot's attempt to become the eighth filly to win the Mid-Summer Derby and first in over a century, Travers Day will feature seven graded stakes, including the Grade 1, $1 million Sword Dancer, the Grade 1, $700,000 Personal Ensign, the Grade 1, $600,000 Forego, the Grade 1, $500,000 Ketel One Ballerina, and the Grade 1, $500,000 H. Allen Jerkens Memorial.

Travers Day will also feature a $1 million guaranteed Late Pick 4 pool beginning in Race 8 with an approximate post time of 3:35 p.m. ET and concluding the with Travers in Race 11. Saturday's Pick 6 sequence will begin in Race 6 and conclude with the Travers.

The Travers will be televised live on NBC as part of a national broadcast from 4-6 p.m. In addition, an expanded Travers Day edition of Saratoga Live, presented by Claiborne Farm, will air nationally on FS2 from 1-4 p.m. ET. Regional coverage of Saturday's Saratoga Live can be bound on MSG+ FOX Sports Prime Ticket FOX Sports San Diego and Altitude.

Travers Day grandstand general admission tickets are available for $10 in advance at the Saratoga Race Course Box Office or online at Ticketmaster.com. Grandstand admission will be $15 at the gate on Travers Day, pending availability. There will be no Clubhouse upgrades. Gates open at 7 a.m. on Travers Day, with a special first post time of 11:35 a.m.
