Double Pick 6 carryover of $166K set for Wednesday

On Monday, the NYRA Bets Late Pick 5 at Saratoga Race Course was taken down by a single winning ticket, triggering a minimum $150,000 payout to one lucky NYRA Bets member.

The winning ticket, purchased at the 50-cent minimum to total $96, was secured in the finale by Won't Be Missed (No. 7), who captured Race 9 at odds of 48-1. It marked the first time a NYRA Bets account holder has been able to take advantage of the guaranteed minimum payout offered daily throughout the Saratoga meet.

The account holder will receive an additional $51,107 as part of the guarantee on top of the winning wager worth $98,892.

The popular, low takeout wager covers the last five races of every live racing program at Saratoga. It features a minimum single-ticket payout of $150,000 daily and $300,000 on Saturdays to NYRA Bets customers. Fans who sign up for NYRA Bets using the promo code "SPA" will receive a $200 new member bonus. Details are available at NYRABets.com. Additionally, Travers Day, Saturday, August 25 will feature a $1 million single-ticket guarantee.

Also on Monday, the Pick 6 sequence went unsolved for the second consecutive day leading to a carryover of $166,166 when racing resumes on Wednesday.

Monday's sequence commenced when Concrete Rose (No. 2) returned $26.40 on a $2 win bet in Race 4. In the $100,000 Evan Shipman, the day's featured stake in Race 8, Can You Diggit (No. 2) won at returning $14.

A consolation payout of $946 was awarded to bettors who had four of six winners.
