Horse Profile: Silent Tactic
Silent Tactic was a consistent contender on the Kentucky Derby trail. He won the Southwest Stakes and netted second place finishes in the Smarty Jones, Rebel Stakes, and Arkansas Derby.
During preparations for the Kentucky Derby, however, Silent Tactic was forced to scratch due to a minor injury.
To begin the back half of his three-year-old campaign, Silent Tactic placed third in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy.
Following the Jim Dandy, co-owner Victoriam Farm purchased a 50% stake in Silent Tactic for $1.5 million.
