In the 8h race at Saratoga on 07/26/2024 there was a Steward’s inquiry. The incident occurred during the stretch run and involved the #9 Runningwscissors who finished 2nd and the #10 Let It Ride. After reviewing the replay and questioning the riders involved, the Stewards were of the opinion that #9 Runningwscissors shifted in mid-stretch causing the #10 Let It Ride to clip heels and fall. As a result, #9 Runningwscissors was disqualified from 2nd place and placed last.
