NYRA TO DEBUT CHAMPION SUITES AT BELMONT PARK IN 2026

Pat McKenna Oct 8 2025

A new era of hospitality is coming to Belmont Park. The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today introduced the Champion Suites – a collection of all-new, year-round private suites pairing the excitement of world class racing with premium amenities, elevated service and enhanced access to the new Belmont Park.

Early commitments are strongly encouraged to secure a Champion Suite ahead of Belmont Park’s re-opening in 2026. To explore the Champion Suite layouts, or schedule an introductory call with a NYRA sales representative, please visit NewBelmont.com.

Ranging in capacity from 16 to 50 guests, each Champion Suite offers a private, climate-controlled environment featuring both indoor lounge seating and open-air tiered stadium seating with expansive views of the stretch run and finish line. Guests will also enjoy exclusive access to the Champion Suite balcony, an outdoor gathering area overlooking the saddling paddock and Belmont Park backyard.

Built with a flexible layout, the Champion Suites are ideal for race day hospitality as well as private celebrations, corporate functions, and milestone events. Each suite features floor-to-ceiling windows and modern interiors that seamlessly blend contemporary design with the rich traditions of Belmont Park.

Champion Suite members and guests will enjoy a dedicated VIP entrance and direct elevator access to the Champion Suite Level to ensure a seamless experience upon arrival and departure.

Belmont Park will re-open for live racing in September 2026 with the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets set to return to its Long Island home in 2027. In addition, Belmont Park has been selected to host the 2027 Breeders’ Cup World Championships, which will mark the first edition of the Breeders’ Cup to be held in New York State since 2005.

The unveiling of the Champion Suites represents the latest milestone for NYRA’s $455 million redevelopment of Belmont Park. At the heart of the project is a 300,000-square-foot, five-story building featuring flexible hospitality options and modern fan amenities.

By reducing the grandstand’s overall footprint and introducing new pedestrian and vehicular tunnels to the infield, the new Belmont Park will provide fans and the surrounding community with more open and accessible green space than ever before.

When complete, the new Belmont Park will feature four newly constructed racing surfaces: the traditional 1 1/2-mile dirt main track, two turf courses, and a one-mile Tapeta track, which will serve as the exclusive surface for winter racing.
