The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will accept full and partial space group hospitality reservations for the 2021 season at Saratoga Race Course beginning Wednesday, June 16 at 10 a.m.
Reservations will be available in the following hospitality areas in the popular Saratoga backyard: the Festival Tent, accommodating up to 240 guests, and the Big Red Spring Tent, available for full space reservations and offering seating for up to 50 fans. Both areas include admission and Post Parade programs.
Group hospitality reservations will also be available in the second-floor Easy Goer, set inside the historic Grandstand where up to 300 fans can enjoy a seasonal-fare buffet. Tickets include admission, buffet and Post Parade programs. Open bar packages are also available.
Additionally, full-space reservations are currently being accepted for Legends Hall, the second-floor event space at the 1863 Club, accommodating up to 100 guests, as well as the third-floor luxury suites, with capacities ranging from 30 to 45 guests. The three-story, climate-controlled hospitality building, located on the Clubhouse turn, debuted during the 2019 season to widespread acclaim.
Group hospitality reservations are available via email at [email protected] or by phone at (844) NYRA-TIX. Tables in the Festival Tent may be reserved via Ticketmaster.com.
“Following a season held without spectators due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NYRA is seeing unprecedented enthusiasm and interest in the 2021 summer meet at Saratoga Race Course,” said NYRA Senior Director of Communications Pat McKenna. “That enthusiasm has generated incredibly strong early ticket sales, and we encourage fans to make their plans now to experience the summer meet in-person yet again.”
In order to re-open Saratoga Race Course to fans at near full capacity, NYRA will designate most sections for vaccinated fans only, including the 1863 Club, as well as the Festival Tent and Big Red Spring Tent in the backyard. Upon entry, fans must submit proof of vaccination through the New York State Excelsior Pass or by presenting their Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card.
Non-vaccinated fans who reserve space in the Easy Goer will be required to observe social distancing guidelines and wear a facial covering at all times, unless actively eating or drinking in their seat, during their day at Saratoga Race Course.
Under New York State guidelines, non-vaccinated children under the age of 16 will be admitted to seating and hospitality areas designated for vaccinated fans when accompanied by a vaccinated adult.
Individuals are considered fully vaccinated by the CDC/New York State 14 days or more after receiving the second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or 14 days or more after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson / Janssen).
NYRA encourages all fans who have been vaccinated in New York State to download the Excelsior Pass at https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/excelsior-pass.
Single-day tickets for Saratoga Race Course will go on sale Wednesday, June 23 at 10 a.m.
Single-day dining reservations in the Turf Terrace, The Porch and Club Terrace will be accepted beginning Wednesday, June 30 at 10 a.m.
The 40-day summer meet at historic Saratoga Race Course will feature 76 stakes worth $21.5 million in total purses highlighted by the 152nd renewal of the Grade 1, $1.25 million Travers on August 28 and the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney on August 7, as the anchors of two of the most prestigious racing days in North America.
Following the four-day opening weekend from Thursday, July 15 through Sunday, July 18, racing will be conducted five days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays, with the exception of the final week, when the meet will conclude on Labor Day.
