Saratoga summer meet to conclude with Fan Appreciation Week

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will thank its fans with special offers on tickets and hospitality at historic Saratoga Race Course during the final week of the summer meet, Wednesday, August 27 to Monday, September 1.

The 2025 summer meet will conclude on Labor Day and will feature the following gate and first post times during Fan Appreciation Week:

  • Admission gates open at 11 a.m. with first post at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Admission gates open at 11 a.m. with first post at 12:35 p.m. on Friday.
  • Admission gates open at 10 a.m. with first post at 12:05 p.m. on Saturday and Monday.
  • Admission gates open at 10 a.m. with first post at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday.

Fan Appreciation Week will be highlighted by various specials at food and beverage concession stands as well as a series of weeklong ticket offers available for purchase at NYRA.com/Fans:

  • Buy one reserved seat, get one free on the same day in the Clubhouse or Grandstand; or Buy one reserved table, get one free on the same day in the Miller Time Fourstardave Sports Bar and the Pick Six Vodka Picnic Paddock; use offer code BOGO25 via Ticketmaster.

Sunday will also feature a series of special ticket offers:

  • Sunday brunch at the Rail at the 1863 Club, starting at $110 per person, including brunch buffet; soft drinks; admission; program; tax; and gratuity.

NYRA’s Breakfast and Breeding Farm Tours will be offered Thursday through Sunday of the final week and may be reserved in advance at NYRA.com. The package includes a buffet breakfast during morning training, transportation aboard a CDTA trolley to a local breeding farm and admission to Saratoga Race Course in the afternoon. Each tour accommodates up to 52 guests.

Breakfast on the Porch will conclude at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate the earlier admission times. Breakfast on the Porch and Backstretch tram tours are not offered on Labor Day.

Labor Day Weekend will be highlighted by five graded stakes, including the Grade 1, $300,000 Spinaway, Grade 2, $500,000 Flower Bowl, and the Grade 3, $175,000 Prioress on Saturday, August 30. The final Sunday of the meet features the Grade 1, $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup, a 1 1/4-mile test for 3-year-olds and up. The traditional closing day feature is the Grade 1, $300,000 Spendthrift Farm Hopeful.  

A special edition of Saratoga Live presented by Caesars Sportsbook will air on FOX on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern for coverage of the 107th running of the Jockey Club Gold Cup. The Jockey Club Gold Cup offers a “Win and You’re In” berth to the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Classic in November.
