Registration for the Belmont Stakes Challenge now open

Registration is now open for the two-day Belmont Stakes Challenge slated for Friday, June 7 through Belmont Stakes Day on Saturday, June 8, at Saratoga Race Course.

The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, which spans Thursday, June 6, through Sunday, June 9, is highlighted by the 156th edition of the Grade 1, $2 million Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets on Saturday, June 8. The four-day Festival will include 24 stakes races with purses totaling $10.25 million, the highest purse levels and number of stakes offered since the launch of the multi-day Festival in 2014.

Belmont Stakes Challenge contestants can choose to register and play on-track at Saratoga Race Course or online provided they are registered NYRA Bets account holders. There is a maximum of two entries per player.

Contestants for the two-day Belmont Stakes Challenge will compete for cash prizes through fourth place with 50 percent of the prize money going to the winner and the remainder distributed on a 25-15-10 percent basis. In addition, the top-two finishers will win seats to the 2024 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC), including hotel accommodations and travel credit, for the lucrative event to be held on November 1-2 at Del Mar.

The Belmont Stakes Challenge has a buy-in of $5,000 of which $1,500 will go directly to the prize pool, with the remaining $3,500 comprising each participants’ bankroll. Eligible tournament races at Saratoga Race Course will start on Friday, June 7, and end with the 156th running of the Belmont Stakes presented by NYRA Bets on Saturday, June 8. Contest players can make win, place, show, exacta, trifecta, quinella and daily double wagers.
