Free app now available for iOS, Android, Chromecast
The New York Racing Association announced today the launch of NYRA Now, a free application that streams live and on-demand NYRA video content. NYRA Now is a mobile-first video platform that gives users customizable video streaming options, setting the industry standard in presenting thoroughbred racing.
NYRA Now is currently available on Apple iOS operations systems, Android devices and Chromecast. Additional platforms will also be supported this spring, including Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, Xbox and PS4.
NYRA Now provides all live racing content from a slew of customizable camera angles, as well as offering a vast-and-growing library of on-demand content, encompassing race replays, historical pieces and in-depth analysis. This repository can also be utilized to access stakes replays, historical pieces, jockey and trainer profiles and expert analysis.
Live race calls are always accessible in both English and Spanish at NYRA tracks, with expanded racing analysis in Spanish also available.
Talking Horses, NYRA's handicapping show, will be uploaded to the app shortly after the completion of the live show. Users will have the option to view analysis on a race-by-race basis and also see the handicapper selections for the day via NYRA Now.
The app also allows users to select replays for all NYRA races dating to April 2016. Replays available with the pan and head-on views and are searchable using a user-friendly calendar display, and the page will also show results for recent NYRA races.
